With so many issues going on in the world, it may be difficult to establish and maintain a sense of peace. In recent years, the media has depicted the world’s evils in a variety of ways. Senseless killings have occurred in churches, schools, and even grocery stores. It’s difficult to imagine what the parents of the students at Robb Elementary in Uvalde must do to find peace in that situation.
The world is also experiencing what appears to be a recession. Many people are looking for peace amid food shortages, skyrocketing gas prices, international wars, and political upheaval. Some people seek world peace through temporary pleasures. Others find comfort in reciting positive affirmations on a daily basis. The truth is that everyone possesses a sense of peace.
Understanding the Creator and Peace
At birth, the creator of this life instilled peace within humans. People frequently recall their childhood. Many people have expressed a desire to be a child again, to abandon the life of “adulting” in favor of the childlike life of having no worries and living freely.
It is critical to recognize that the creator provides peace for his children. The word says that in order to enter the kingdom of heaven, people should behave like children. Why is this the case? Most children were unconcerned about life’s difficulties and lived in peace without even trying. People struggle with the daily struggles of paying bills, dealing with supervisors, conflicts with family and friends, and any other situation that keeps them from knowing their true peace as adults.
Children don’t think about life’s difficulties because they know their parents will look after them. The Lord pays special attention to children and provides support through their parents.
The Most High loves his children, and all people, whether adults or children, should understand that he cares for them and guides them to peace in times of trouble. Giving all worries and concerns to the one in control is critical to maintaining a healthy mental state and avoiding the stresses of the world.
Be like a child. Be blameless. Trust that peace resides with the creator who controls the flow of life.
